Ærø is an island of love. At the bottom is a symbol of the bride and groom, framed by a heart. Directly above them, in a row, are the iconic beach huts. Wind turbines and solar energy supply power both for Ærø and for the electric ferry – the furthest-ranging electric-powered ferry in the world. At the top is a schooner – an image of Ærø’s long maritime tradition.
